Protecting the Young People in our Care
At É«ÇéӰƬ we are committed to protecting our students from all aspects of harm by creating and maintaining a student safe culture.
É«ÇéӰƬ takes a zero-tolerance approach to any behaviours that jeopardise student safety and wellbeing as all students deserve to learn in a calm and focused environment where they feel safe.
The School has established strategies, practices, policies and procedures in order to comply with Ministerial Order 1359 and to embed a culture of child safety within the School.

É«ÇéӰƬ takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students. Some of these steps to protect out students from harm and abuse include:
- Embed a culture of Child Safety through all levels of É«ÇéӰƬ
- Establish a culturally safe environment for all students
- Ensure students feel empowered in their rights and are involved in decisions that affect them
- Families and the community are informed and involved in promoting child safety and wellbeing
- Actively promote equality and respect each students’ diverse needs
- Physical and online environments promote safety and wellbeing and harm minimisation strategies are implemented
In order to support this É«ÇéӰƬ has created a simple guide for students, parents and carers, staff, volunteers and contractors on how to report Child Safety concerns or instances.
